Got A Favourite Classic Car Story? We’d Love To Hear It!
Over the past few months, it seems as though there have been more fantastic classic car stories in the news than ever before.
Don’t get us wrong, we’ve heard some unbelievable stories over the years, many of which we don’t think will ever be beaten, but since the start of the year, it’s as though all we’ve done when checking Twitter and reading classic car forums and blogs is come across stories that captivate us and make us want to find out more.
Take this recent piece as an example. All about how a tunnel in Naples, which hasn’t been used since World War 2, has been cleared out and now showcases numerous cars from the era, the sheer thought of cars being in there for 70 years fascinates us.
And this piece, too, which looks at some absolute classics that are currently for sale, but which have been terribly neglected over the years. They might be a bit daunting for some, but we know plenty of people who’d consider them more an exciting challenge!
Just two examples of some of the great stories we’ve come across in 2013, today we want to reach out and ask you what your favourite classic car story is.
Genuinely interested in what our customers and blog readers have to say, we’d love to know if you’ve come across something we’ve missed. Similarly, if your favourite classic car story is from your own personal past and / or experiences, please do share it.
As many classic car owners will no doubt be able to sympathise, we have a huge passion for vehicles of a certain age. Sure, this might come with the job, being a company offering secure car storage for classic vehicles, but our interest goes beyond this and it’s truly a personal love – being able to see classic cars day in, day out is just a considerable perk!
And so, whether you’re like us and are constantly peeled to all classic car news or you’ve simply spotted or heard something you think we’d be interested in, please get in touch.
We don’t mind how you do it, but if you think the story might be of interest to a wide audience, consider leaving a comment below – we’re a friendly bunch in the classic car industry and all have the same interests, so we’re sure there’ll be at least a few stories that will appeal to more than us here!
